I am curious as to how how other kennel names are derived, so I thought I would put page up about mine. I wanted a name
that flowed with Papillon, so it didn't take me long to come up with the idea of using my zodiac sign of Pisces.
At the time I was living in Florida so that was also a bonus of being on the water, as the sign of Pisces is the two fish.
A couple of years back the AKC offered a new program to get a registered kennel name. Insead of the old way, that
is still available, of protecting your name on all breeds, they offered a name to use only on a specific breed. I
was able to meet all the breeder requirements, but they would not accept the spelling of the name I had been using, so you
will see on my pedigrees many dogs with Pisces in front of their names, they are still my breeding, but now my dogs are being
registered as PySeas.
